What:
Renny Sauce is a screen printing operation owned and operated by the artist out of Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Australia.
I make small runs of T-shirts and other printed materials featuring personal designs, bootlegs, and collaborations with artists and musicians. If you want custom patches, band T-shirts, or business merch printed, please message me through the form on the contact page.
How:
Each T-shirt is different. Renny Sauce sits somewhere between rigour and experimentation. It's best to keep things evolving, so why run a factory line if you don’t have to?
Colour, texture, and layering are the elements that might vary from piece to piece. Please expect something not exactly the same as what is photographed, and trust that I’ll put care and effort into making each shirt special. If there’s something specific you want (or don’t want) within reason — for example: not a certain colour, “I hate fluro”, “make it crazy!”, “T-shirt must be black”, “forest colours only ☮︎” — please leave a note in the comment section at checkout or reply to the order confirmation email and I’ll do my best to accommodate it. Sizing & Base Shirts:
Please see the size chart on each product page. At the moment Renny Sauce is working with Gildan Ultra Cotton and Comfort Colours Boxy Cropped t-Shirt as the new T-Shirt Bases. If you want a different/particular base outside of these, let me know before any order is made please let me know in the contact section. The platform is about learning about what people like so I am grateful for any feedback and recommendations.
New V.s. Pre-Loved:
The pre-loved shirt option provides a more waste and carbon friendly exchange. I source second-hand T-shirts from various sources and look for high-quality contemporary and vintage stock in close to 100% cotton. I draw the line at stains. When choosing the second-hand option, please select your size according to the size chart and I will make sure the shirt fits those measurements.
Light Scheme V.s. Dark Scheme:
Where there are options for both new and pre-loved t-shirts in light or dark colour schemes, please note the following:
A dark colour scheme means a black, dark brown, navy, grey or similar T-shirt with white (or another light contrasting) ink printed on top. A light colour scheme means a white, light pink, light blue, lavender or similar T-shirt with darker contrasting ink.
Most dark shirts will be black, and most light shirts will be white. I generally won’t use a highly vibrant coloured shirt unless otherwise stated. Please include any specific requests in the comment section at checkout.
Garment Care Instructions:
For screen prints cold machine wash only, best to turn the garment inside out. Line dry for maximum longevity of ink. If ironing turn inside out.
For Decoupage garments handwashing is recommened for soft fabrics. For where fabrics are course (e.g.200gsm Cotton) cold machine wash inside out is acceptable. Line dry for maximum longevity of design.
Custom T-shirts:
Renny Sauce can make custom one-off T-shirts. See examples of hand-painted, hand-drawn, and airbrushed shirts in the products section and on Instagram. If you have a specific request for a one-off piece, please send a description through the contact form.
Shipping:
Renny Sauce ships nationwide. If you live overseas and are interested in a shirt, please get in touch and I can provide a custom shipping quote before any transaction is made.
Timing:
T-shirts are printed to order. Please allow up to twenty one working days from purchase to receive your order (domestic shipping). If your design requests are very specific and I need additional time to source materials, I will contact you directly.
Returns:
Renny Sauce does not offer returns for change of mind. If the product does not meet the description and you are dissatisfied, I will work with you to reprint the item and sort it out. Store credit or vouchers may also be provided.
